1960년대부터 본격적으로 시작된 우리나라 봉제 산업의 역사를 알리고 가치를 재조명하고자 건립된 봉제역사관은 동대문 패션타운의 생산기지이자 세계적으로도 얼마 남지 않은 도심 속 제조 지역인 창신동에 위치해있습니다.

베리준오는 기존 건물의 구조를 활용하여 지하부터 지상 4층, 총 5개 층을 아울러 봉제산업의 역사, 대한민국 봉제 명장들의 인물 브랜딩을 주축으로 한 밀도 높은 전시 콘텐츠를 기획, 2018년 개관 이후에도 위탁 운영을 맡아 다양한 커뮤니케이션 프로그램과 수차례의 기획 전시를 수행하였으며 서울시 운영 전시관 중 가장 적은 전시면적으로 높은 관람객 수를 기록한 성공적인 프로젝트로 마무리하였습니다.

Designed to celebrate and reassess the significance of Korean sewing history, which dates back to the 1960s, the Iumpium Sewing History Museum is situated in Changsin-dong. This area serves as a hub for Dongdaemun Fashion Town, a renowned fashion district, and is also a prominent urban manufacturing zone worldwide.

By utilizing the preexisting building structure, VJO created a compelling exhibition that focuses on the rich history of the sewing industry in Korea and highlights the accomplishments of Korean sewing masters. The project achieved remarkable success, drawing the highest number of visitors per square foot among all operating exhibition halls in Seoul.
